Description

A delightful dessert that combines fresh peaches and blueberries with a crunchy oat topping, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium Fresh Peaches, sliced
  • 2 cups Blueberries
  • 1 cup Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • ¾ cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • ½ cup Butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the peaches into thin wedges and combine them with the blueberries in a large bowl, tossing gently.
  3. Mix in the brown sugar, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon until delicately coated. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  4. Combine the oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, and cinnamon in another bowl. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  5. Spread the topping evenly over the fruit mixture.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling bubbles.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful treat. You can also prepare the filling and topping separately in advance.
