Description

A delightful twist on a classic, combining creamy cheese with sweet blueberries for a unique savory-sweet experience.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (Cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer half of the cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  4. Add the fresh blueberries on top of the cheese.
  5. Finish with the remaining cheese on top of the blueberries.
  6. Assemble the sandwich with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  7. Grill for about 3-4 minutes until golden, then flip and repeat.
  8. Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, try using an air fryer. You can also customize with fresh herbs or different fruits.
