Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Mix melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl until frothy.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently.
- Fold in the cherries carefully.
- Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, softened butter, and cinnamon in a separate bowl for the streusel.
- Fill the muffin cups about two-thirds full with batter and sprinkle streusel on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the muffins to cool before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend. To customize, try adding chocolate chips or using different fruits.
