Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until lightened in texture.
  4. Mix the oats, flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped cherries.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

For a richer flavor, refrigerate the dough overnight before baking. You can also use an air fryer at 325°F for a quicker bake.
