- 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
- Combine the milk, eggs, and melted butter in a separate bowl and whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped cherries until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the batter into your prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour. You can also use an air fryer set to 320°F (160°C) for approximately 30-40 minutes.
