Description

A comforting twist on classic Sloppy Joes featuring tender chicken in a creamy Alfredo sauce, served on soft toasted buns.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Shred or dice your cooked chicken. If starting with raw chicken, cook it until tender.
  2. Sauté the aromatics: Melt butter in a skillet, add onion and sauté until translucent. Stir in minced garlic.
  3. Make the Alfredo sauce: Add heavy cream and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Mix in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; add options if desired.
  4. Combine chicken and sauce: Fold shredded chicken into Alfredo sauce. Adjust consistency with more cream or broth if necessary.
  5. Assemble sandwiches: Spoon the mixture onto toasted buns. Top with mozzarella if using, and serve warm.
