Description

Crispy on the outside, filled with spicy Buffalo chicken, smoky bacon, and gooey mozzarella, these bomb snacks are perfect for game days and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (crumbled)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 Large Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling by combining ground chicken, crumbled bacon, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Form the bombs by taking a small portion of the mixture, flattening it in your palm, placing a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center, and carefully folding the mixture around the cheese, forming a tight ball.
  3. Set up the breading station with three separate dishes for the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat each bomb first in flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the beaten eggs, and roll in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the oil in a frying pan to approximately 350°F (175°C).
  6. Fry the bombs for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, turning halfway for even cooking.
  7. Drain the bombs on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For easier handling, keep your hands lightly floured when forming the bombs. Adjust frying time based on your stove’s heat.
