- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate glaze
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Scoop even portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool the cookies before adding a generous spoonful of whipped cream between two cookies.
- Dip the filled cookies in melted chocolate glaze or drizzle over the top.
- Allow to set before serving.
