Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Place sliced chicken in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add black pepper, soy sauce, and cornstarch, mixing well to coat.
  3. Let marinate for about 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and pour in the vegetable oil.
  5. Introduce the marinated chicken and cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir occasionally until fully cooked, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Toss in sliced bell pepper and onion, stir-frying for about 3-4 minutes.
  8. Stir in minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for an additional minute.
  9. Pour in the chicken broth, stirring to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  10. Season with salt to taste and serve warm.
